Virginia...I love your blog! This is definitely something we need, in these end days! I agree...that marriage takes more than two people, to make it. When God is in the center of our marriages, then we can make it as couples, even through the most difficult moments. In fact, we can't make it without Him!
God bless you, as He uses you, in such a special and much needed way!
It's Only Because of Him...

Thank you for the encouragement. Marriage (truly) Takes Three. ;)

Marriage Takes Three

Darla’s first problem is her former high school sweetheart, Jack Collins. Her second problem is the man she married, Randall Connor. As a recovering alcoholic and born again Christian, Randall’s convinced marriage takes three, and that third isn’t Jack, a popular country music star, it’s God.

In the midst of the storm, Randall steps out of the boat to bring healing to his love starved-wife, and invite the right third into their marriage. Will Darla follow promises of better to come with Jack, or will she surrender to God in time to save her marriage?

Marriage Takes Three is my completed novel, which I'm hoping finds a good home (publisher).

OMG, Virginia...your posts are awesome and powerful all in one. Two people asked me to pray for marriages the other day and as I was washing dishes, I begin to pray. I felt inspired by the Holy Spirit, He put me in check.. that I had to pray for the people in those marriages ...because marriage (the institution ordained by God is good). This turned my focus not for the marriage, but for the people. Once the occupants of marriage surrender to Christ......they will begin to see it is INDEED A BEAUTIFUL thing that God created. Be encouraged and continue to share......God bless you sister/friend.

There is a song by the counting crows "Mr Jones". In the song he sings, When everyone love's you you can never be lonly. I think we all know this isnt true.I spent 10 years is a loving caring church family. I became very close to The Pastors and there family.
The last time i saw pastor Jennie, she told me she prays for me,to one day be able to feel love. I was loved my many people in my church, but i couldnt feel it..
I refer to my accident in 2008 as a blessing. It changed my life for the better.I wrote pastor Jennie about a year ago and was able to share this incredible feeling.
Its true, you cant truly love another untill you love yourself!
God Bless!

To accept Jesus into your heart and life today, simply pray this or a similar prayer:

“Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and that my sin has separated me from you. I want to turn away from my past life today, accepting and trusting Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected, is alive, and hears my prayers. I believe His death and resurrection provided for my forgiveness and salvation. I trust in Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I commit my life into your hands. I choose life. Please help me to obey you, and to live a life that will always please you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.” (This Prayer is Called The Sinner’s Prayer)

Congratulations – Welcome to the Family of God!
This is a decision you will not regret. I pray that God will continue to dwell in your heart. I pray that you will get closer to God everyday, you will know him more and become more and more like him. I pray your life will always be full of hope, love, joy and purpose. Just keep on trusting him. God is always there for you. Please, don’t ever forget how much God loves you. No matter what you’re going through, he is there.

Follow up your decision with the following:
1. Spend some time talking to God and reading his word, The Bible, each day. Pray for wisdom and understanding as you read, and ask God to show you how to please him and be more like him.

2. Tell someone else that you have accepted Jesus into your life.

3.Connect with a local church where you can fellowship with other believers, worship God, and get to know God more.

4. Seek out a small group of fellow Christians you can hang out with regularly. Most churches will have small cell groups or e-groups or study groups – find one that you can join. It could also be outside the church, eg you may decide to regularly fellowship with a few of your Christian friends. These people will support you, encourage you, and will answer any questions you might have. And you will have a lot of fun in the process:)!

5. Get Baptized – Any Christian/Follower of Jesus can Baptize you.

6. Rely on God to show you how to live every day. You have now begun a relationship with God and you are an ambassador for God.

7. Don’t forget to live accordingly. God will show you how to continually live in a way that will glorify him.

If you accepted Jesus in your life today, please let me know. God bless, gh
