About The Author Ginny:
I am a follower of Jesus Christ. I am a wife to Ed Hamlin and we are two becoming one. I am the daughter of a courageous woman who continues to battle breast cancer with the sword of the Spirit and a sense of humor. I am blessed to be the mother of two adult-children who stir thankfulness in my heart every day. I am the proud grandmother of: Emeline Sophia Munn, Adrian Robert Bunn, and Isla Elizabeth Munn. I also have three bonus adult-children (we’re a blended family) and five little ones to love on: Madison, Alekzander, Jayden, Kalob, and Jordan — the grandchildren. I enjoy a rainy day at home in front of a roaring fire in the fireplace with my handsome man snuggled up next to me as we share a luscious dessert and watch Hitchcock movies back-to-back. (Yes, that’s a run-on sentence. Hehe.) Hugs to my in-laws: the Ranieri’s (Joe and Lydia), who model marriage so lovingly. I believe Marriage Takes Three…God, husband and wife.

  1. To accept Jesus into your heart and life today, simply pray this or a similar prayer:

Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and that my sin has separated me from you. I want to turn away from my past life today, accepting and trusting Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected, is alive, and hears my prayers. I believe His death and resurrection provided for my forgiveness and salvation. I trust in Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I commit my life into your hands. I choose life. Please help me to obey you, and to live a life that will always please you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.” (This Prayer is Called The Sinner’s Prayer)

Congratulations – Welcome to the Family of God!
This is a decision you will not regret. I pray that God will continue to dwell in your heart. I pray that you will get closer to God everyday, you will know him more and become more and more like him. I pray your life will always be full of hope, love, joy and purpose. Just keep on trusting him. God is always there for you. Please, don’t ever forget how much God loves you. No matter what you’re going through, he is there.

Follow up your decision with the following:
    1. Spend some time talking to God and reading his word, The Bible, each day. Pray for wisdom and understanding as you read, and ask God to show you how to please him and be more like him.

    2. Tell someone else that you have accepted Jesus into your life.

3.Connect with a local church where you can fellowship with other believers, worship God, and get to know God more.

    4. Seek out a small group of fellow Christians you can hang out with regularly. Most churches will have small cell groups or e-groups or study groups – find one that you can join. It could also be outside the church, eg you may decide to regularly fellowship with a few of your Christian friends. These people will support you, encourage you, and will answer any questions you might have. And you will have a lot of fun in the process:)!

    5. Get Baptized – Any Christian/Follower of Jesus can Baptize you.

    6. Rely on God to show you how to live every day. You have now begun a relationship with God and you are an ambassador for God.

    7. Don’t forget to live accordingly. God will show you how to continually live in a way that will glorify him.

If you accepted Jesus in your life today, please let me know. God bless, gh

  2. There is a song by the counting crows “Mr Jones”. In the song he sings, When everyone love’s you you can never be lonly. I think we all know this isnt true.I spent 10 years is a loving caring church family. I became very close to The Pastors and there family.
The last time i saw pastor Jennie, she told me she prays for me,to one day be able to feel love. I was loved my many people in my church, but i couldnt feel it..
I refer to my accident in 2008 as a blessing. It changed my life for the better.I wrote pastor Jennie about a year ago and was able to share this incredible feeling.
Its true, you cant truly love another untill you love yourself!
    God Bless!

    • Wes,
I’m not familiar with the song, but you may rest assured I will now take a listen. You’re an amazing, godly man. I am blessed to know you. Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment. God bless you always. ;)
