Sunsets
I love the evening and what it brings. I have been fortunate throughout my life to have jobs where I wasn’t always stuck inside all of the time and got to enjoy the out doors I even enjoyed it, if it was in the middle of the summer in the desert in Arizona or the Mojave in California.
The evening brings a color palette that is like eating a swirled sherbet. I have some elevated locations anywhere from just a few hundred feet to several thousand. It is a spectacular event to watch the progression of the setting sun through haze, fog or even clouds. It is an even in it self but the real event comes anywhere from five to thirtys= minutes after. Since the La Nina storms hit it has been mostly cloudy. Some clear mornings but then the sunsets and the clouds are thinning it is like listening to a well conducted symphony.
I will be Shooting as many sunsets through out the year, almost a 356 project. There are a few days I am un-able to amke it to a vantage point where a view of the California coast is unobstructed. leave a comment please. I don’t use you email address for anything other than solicited correspndence. I don’t make it avaiable to anyone period. I know what it is like to get spammed alot. So please enjoy and leave a comment that you were here. Oh almost forgot one thing. I will update this once a week and combine the sunsets in order beginning to end of week. So on Mondays ther will be the previous weeks sunsets.
I am always amazed to see such wonderful sights. I am fortunate to have so many locations to shoot from and the longes drive I have is about an hour give or take with traffic and road conditions. One of the site I recently start utilizing is just ten minutes form my home with a grueling hike to the top of a 1600 foot hill. These recent sunsets have been shot there. Enjoy what you see.
